On Wanting More (But Not Knowing What)
There’s a strange feeling in wanting more without knowing what “more” is.
Not dissatisfaction exactly.
Not unhappiness either.
Just this quiet sense that where you are isn’t quite it.
You keep moving.
You work, you build things, you make plans.
From the outside, it looks like progress.
And it is.
But it doesn’t fully land.
It’s not that something is wrong.
It’s that something is missing, but you can’t name it.
So you try different things.
Different ideas, different paths, different versions of yourself.
Hoping one of them clicks.
Sometimes it almost does.
For a moment, it feels right.
Then it fades again.
Not in a dramatic way.
Just enough to remind you you’re still searching.
And maybe that’s the uncomfortable part.
There’s no clear direction to follow.
No obvious next step that fixes it.
Just this ongoing movement.
But maybe it’s not something to fix.
Maybe it’s just a phase you have to go through.
A space between where you were and something you haven’t found yet.
So you keep going.
Not because you’re sure.
But because staying still feels worse.
And somewhere in all of this,
something will make sense.
Eventually.
